Rider Agreement

1. Overview

This Rider Agreement ("Agreement") governs the relationship between Riders and Ayiha Labs in connection with delivery services provided through the Ahidaho platform. By registering as a Rider, you agree to this Agreement in addition to our general Terms & Conditions.

2. Independent Contractor Status

Riders are independent contractors, not employees of Ayiha Labs. You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and equipment (vehicle, phone, etc.).

Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment, partnership, or agency relationship.

3. Cash on Delivery (COD) Handling

For COD orders, you are responsible for collecting the exact payment amount from the Buyer and remitting it to the platform according to the established settlement schedule.

Mishandling of COD funds (shortfalls, delays, or discrepancies) is a serious violation and may result in immediate suspension and deposit forfeiture.

4. Earnings & Payment

Rider earnings are based on completed deliveries. Rates are determined by distance, zone, and order type. Earnings are visible in real-time on your dashboard.

Payments are settled on a regular schedule via mobile money. A security deposit may be required for COD handling privileges.

5. Liability & Insurance

Riders are liable for damage to packages during transit due to negligence. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance for your vehicle and delivery activities.

Ahidaho is not liable for accidents, injuries, or losses incurred during deliveries.

6. Code of Conduct

Riders must:

• Maintain professional and courteous behavior at all times
• Handle packages with care and deliver them in good condition
• Follow delivery instructions and contact Buyers proactively
• Not tamper with, consume, or open packages
• Present valid identification when requested
• Maintain a well-maintained and safe vehicle

7. Misconduct & Consequences

Serious violations result in immediate suspension and potential permanent termination, with any outstanding deposits forfeited.

The following constitute serious violations:

• Theft or attempted theft of packages or COD funds
• Intentional damage to packages
• Abusive or threatening behavior toward Buyers or Sellers
• Operating under the influence of alcohol or substances
• Using a different vehicle or having someone else make deliveries without authorization
• Providing false documentation or information

8. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement with 14 days notice. Pending deliveries must be completed, and outstanding COD settlements resolved.

Ayiha Labs may immediately terminate in cases of theft, fraud, or serious misconduct.
