Ayiha Labs ("we", "us", "our") operates the Ahidaho platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal data when you use our Platform.
This policy complies with the Republic of Benin's Data Protection Law (Loi n° 2009-09) and is subject to oversight by the APDP (Autorité de Protection des Données à caractère Personnel).

Full name, phone number, email address, profile photo, identity documents (for verification)
Account Data
Account credentials, role preferences, language settings, notification preferences
Transaction Data
Order history, payment records, delivery addresses, product reviews
Location Data
Delivery addresses, GPS coordinates (for riders, with consent), city and neighborhood data
Device & Technical Data
Device type, browser, IP address, session data, push notification tokens
3. How We Use Your Data
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- Providing and operating the Platform
- Processing orders and facilitating deliveries
- Verifying user identities and preventing fraud
- Communicating order updates and platform notifications
- Improving our services and user experience
- Complying with legal obligations
- Resolving disputes and enforcing our Terms
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your data based on: contractual necessity (to provide our services), legitimate interest (to improve and secure the Platform), consent (for marketing and location tracking), and legal obligation (tax and regulatory compliance).
5. Data Sharing
We never sell your personal data to third parties.
We may share your personal data with:
- Sellers: to fulfill your orders (name, delivery address, phone)
- Riders: to complete deliveries (name, address, phone, order details)
- Payment providers: to process payments (mobile money operators)

6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period for legal, tax, and dispute resolution purposes. Transaction records are retained for 5 years as required by OHADA accounting standards.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, subject to our legal retention obligations.

8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure data storage, access controls, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and notifying us immediately of any suspected breach.
10. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we discover that we have collected data from a minor, we will promptly delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or Platform notification. The "Last updated" date at the top of this policy indicates when it was last revised.
