Delivery Policy

1. Overview

Ahidaho partners with independent Riders to deliver products from Sellers directly to Buyers. This policy outlines delivery zones, timelines, and responsibilities.

2. Delivery Zones

We currently deliver within the following areas in Benin: Cotonou, Abomey-Calavi, Porto-Novo, and surrounding areas. Delivery zones are expanding. Check the Platform for the most current coverage.

Delivery availability and fees may vary by zone. Final delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and the Seller's location.

3. Delivery Timelines

Standard delivery within Cotonou: Same-day to 2 business days. Inter-city delivery: 2-5 business days. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by weather, traffic, high demand periods, or product availability.

You will receive real-time updates on your delivery status through the Platform and push notifications.

4. Failed Delivery

If delivery cannot be completed (incorrect address, recipient unavailable, access issues), the Rider will attempt to contact you. After two failed attempts, the order may be returned to the Seller.

Additional delivery attempts may incur extra delivery fees. Please ensure your delivery address and phone number are accurate.

5. Rider Responsibilities

Riders are independent contractors responsible for safe and timely delivery. Riders are required to: handle packages with care, follow delivery instructions, collect accurate COD payments, and maintain professional conduct.

Ahidaho is not liable for damage caused by Riders during delivery, though we actively monitor Rider performance and address issues promptly.

6. Buyer Responsibilities

To ensure smooth delivery, Buyers must:

• Provide accurate and complete delivery addresses
• Be available at the delivery location during the delivery window
• Inspect products upon delivery before making COD payment
• Report delivery issues within 24 hours through the Platform

7. Delivery Fees

Delivery fees are based on distance, package size, and delivery speed. Fees are displayed at checkout before you confirm your order. Some Sellers may offer free delivery for orders above a certain amount.

Delivery fees are non-refundable unless the delivery failure is caused by the platform or the Seller.
